Data and deletion help

Bamboo Pinch creates no password-based ANETH account. On Android, Google Play Games can authenticate the player and, depending on its settings, may offer Play Games profile creation or confirmation from inside the game. Google stores the world leaderboard. Bamboo Pinch does not use Google Play Games Saved Games or any Career-storage server. Career is stored only on the device for offline play. A retired code-55 internal diagnostic may have left test snapshot data under Google's control, but the current app cannot access or re-upload it. Bamboo Pinch operates no ANETH online account or ranking database. Google services process Play Games and advertising data as described in the privacy policy.

Profile and career reset

Open the person button in Bamboo Pinch. When available, Profile displays the Google Play Games gamertag and avatar; Bamboo Pinch has no editable online nickname or country field. Use Reset career to replace rank, records, shurikens, challenges and unlocked cosmetics with a new career. The reset is saved only on the device. It does not delete or change Google leaderboard data, the Play Games profile, advertising choices or sound settings, and it is not an immediate Google-data deletion command.

Remove the local Bamboo Pinch copy

Bamboo Pinch saves career and settings locally while the app remains installed. Android Auto Backup, Android device transfer and Saved Games are not used. The following steps permanently remove the local Career copy; they do not by themselves delete leaderboard or historical test data held by Google.

  1. Open Android Settings.
  2. Open Apps, then Bamboo Pinch.
  3. Open Storage and choose Clear data (wording varies by device).

Uninstalling Bamboo Pinch likewise removes local settings, progression, local leaderboard/outbox data and the locally cached consent state. The current app has no Career restore path after reinstalling or changing devices.

Delete Play Games and leaderboard data

Bamboo Pinch sends Android leaderboard scores to Google Play Games Services. ANETH SOFTWARE does not operate a server copy, and the app has no separate ANETH ranking profile or remote-deletion button for Google-held game data. Google may still hold a snapshot from the retired code-55 internal diagnostic; the current app cannot read or re-upload it.

To delete Play Games data for Bamboo Pinch through a web browser:

  1. Open your Play Games profile.
  2. Open Your data, then Delete Play Games account & data.
  3. Under Delete individual game data, find Bamboo Pinch and choose Delete.

Google also documents a Play Store route: profile icon, Settings, General, Play Games profile, Privacy & settings, then Delete profile & game data. Labels may vary by app version and device. Read Google's current Play Games deletion instructions before proceeding.

Google explains that deleting data for one game, deleting the complete Play Games profile and deleting Play History are separate controls. Individual-game deletion can remove Google-held Bamboo Pinch leaderboard data and any historical diagnostic snapshot, but does not remove a local Career copy. Clearing Bamboo Pinch data or uninstalling does not by itself delete data already held by Google. The current app cannot upload its local Career after Google-side deletion. Google may offer profile creation or confirmation again on a later launch.

Advertising choices and Google data

If Google UMP reports that privacy options are required, open the person button in Bamboo Pinch, open Privacy & data, then choose Ad choices to review or change the available advertising choices. Android settings also provide controls to reset or delete the advertising ID.

Clearing app data or uninstalling stops future processing by that app installation and removes local settings, but does not by itself delete advertising data already processed by Google. Use Google's applicable account, privacy and advertising controls for that data. The privacy policy explains the provider data and how to contact ANETH SOFTWARE about data it controls.
